Jimmy and Laura have been Hollidaysburg residents since 2001. Stepping into the Duncansville and East Freedom Best Way Pizza in 1997, they marked a start in their career. The experience gained from the opportunity is memorable and helped push them to make the next leap.

Fast forward to 2022, they became proud owner-operators of The Dream Restaurant. The Dream has been a historic piece of history in the Hollidaysburg community since the 50s. The two are excited to continue the rich history of the stapled restaurant.

Now in 2025, with four children, Jimmy and Laura decided to take an exciting step. The Beech Tree Cafe name comes from an old Beech Tree in the yard of the two’s historic Hollidaysburg home. The tree came down, and the two felt they needed to do something with the wood as it was a piece of their history. The beautiful tree now represents the table tops in their new cafe, featuring specialty coffees, homemade waffles, pastries, sandwiches, and more!

Jimmy and Laura are two highly involved, self-built business owner-operators. They take value and pride in their team’s hard work and are there to put in the hard work alongside them.
